Travel agents seek to customize packages to fit their specific needs.
Travel agents desire the ability to personalize packages to meet their unique requirements. However, the current process is conducted offline due to the lack of an online platform for such customization. Our goal is to establish an online service that facilitates this process.

We propose a solution to address this challenge by introducing an online service that empowers users
to customize and book quotes according to their preferences. This approach offers the advantage of
saving time while providing a seamless and user-friendly customization process.
Being
entirely responsible for the design, I worked to gather feedback every step of the way.
How do we allow users to customize and book instantly?
Conducting user interviews with the agents to understand behavior and pain points, as well as mapping out their journey from start to booking a package
Engaging in user interviews with our internal team members who currently offer offline services to agents, aiming to gain insights from their valuable feedback.
Develop web-application by consolidating data points, taking feedback every step of the way from users and our team.
Here are some of the main points of concern I found that users faced.
Even minor modifications result in users waiting for hours to receive personalized quotes.
The challenge lies in comparing quotes and making informed decisions.
New agents find it challenging to grasp the complex information associated with offline customization.
Travel agents struggle to provide timely updates and modifications to customers due to the offline package customization process.
Opting for Wireframe 1 after user feedback, as it aligns with user habits of editing components before viewing the itinerary. This choice minimizes complexity and yields improved outcomes.
Wireframe 1 :Wireframe 1 allows users to personalize each component according to their preferences, resulting in the generation of an itinerary based on their customized changes to each component.This offers the advantage of allowing users to customize each component according to their preferences, which aligns with the user preference of editing components rather than editing the itinerary day by day. This approach streamlines the customization process and ensures that the final itinerary accurately reflects the user's choices.
Wireframe 2 :In Wireframe 2, users have the capability to personalize the itinerary by adjusting each day's plan according to their preferences. This means they can organize their travel schedule in a way that suits them best. However, it's important to note that this approach has been met with challenges, as user feedback has indicated that the process can become more intricate and confusing due to the granularity of day-wise customization.
What did I learn ?
From this project, I learned the significance of aligning UI design with user habits, as evident in the preference for component customization over day-wise editing. Iterative feedback-driven design and striking the right balance between customization options and complexity were key takeaways, ensuring an improved user experience.
The UI design process for the mentioned project follows a structured approach. First, I gather requirements and create wireframes, opting for Wireframe 1 based on user preferences for component editing. Next, I develop detailed UI designs, incorporating a user-friendly interface. These designs undergo user testing, allowing for iterative improvements based on feedback. In this iterative cycle, I ensure that the UI elements facilitate easy customization and enhance the overall user experience.
